Diablo 4 has a variety of classes for players to choose from that all have their unique skills that the players are encouraged to experiment with to make the perfect build. While the Druid is ranked the lowest out of the five classes available to players, it is still an enjoyable role to try through the power of shapeshifting and control over the natural elements.

Active skills are useful to a build as these are the skills players will be using against the various enemies in Diablo 4. However, passive perks are just as important with their boosts buffing many of the active skills players are likely to pick. Out of all the passive skills available, these are by far the most useful.

8 Quickshift

A key feature of the Druid class is its ability to transform from a human into a Werebear or a Werewolf. Players are likely to mix and match these active skills between those that transform the player and those that just use elemental magic. With the passive skill of Quickshift, a player can increase the amount of damage dealt when using a Shapeshifting skill.

At the first level of the perk, players will increase their damage by five percent, however ranking up this passive will eventually increase the player's damage to fifteen percent. This combined with other perks that increase the Shapeshifting skills can make for a powerful build.

7 Circle Of Life

Although Druids may use a lot of magic, this class is likely to be on the front lines of every battle the player takes part in. This, therefore, means that they are likely to get hit repeatedly, which in some circumstances can be incredibly risky.

Passive perks like Circle of Life are useful in this context as spending Spirit to cast Nature Magic skills will also heal the player for a small percentage. This makes the Druid incredibly self-sufficient as they don't need to rely on their healing potions to keep them up in battle.

6 Iron Fur

The different transformations that the Druid can go through each come with their buffs; the Werebear is by far the more defensive shapeshifting form for players to take on and the passive perks connected to this are proof as such.

Iron Fur is a useful Werebear perk due to it giving the player a three percent damage reduction while in this form that continues for three seconds after the player returns to normal. Naturally, putting more perk points into this passive skill increases the percentage amount to nine percent though the time remains the same.

5 Provocation

Another great Werebear passive perk players should consider is that of Provocation. This is a perfect perk for those that are predominantly using Werebear active skills – especially as their base skill – as staying in the form for at least thirty seconds will cause their next skill to Overpower.

Overpowering is a crucial effect that helps get rid of enemies as it deals an increased amount of damage that is determined by the player's current life and their fortified life. While usually ranking up skills gives more damage, in this case getting Provocation to rank three will reduce the time needed to be in Werebear form to at least twenty seconds.

4 Vigilance

The Vigilance passive perk in Diablo 4

When using a class that must typically be up close to do any damage it's important to have active defense skills to use. While these skills alone may be enough in some situations to keep the player alive, it doesn't hurt to have further help from passive skills.

Found right next to the defensive skills, Vigilance gives the player a five percent damage reduction for six seconds after they use a defensive skill. This means that even once the immunity phase is over players won't take as much damage still. Increasing this passive won't increase how long it reduces damage is for, but it will extend to reducing fifteen percent of it.

3 Abundance

Spirit is the resource needed by Druids to cast Nature Magic as well as use certain transformation skills; in many situations, a player may find themselves running short of spirit and that's where passive skills like Abundance become incredibly helpful.

Even with one point in the passive skill, Basic Skills will generate six percent more spirit, once a player has hit rank three of the passive it will generate eighteen percent more. Players will no longer need to worry about not creating enough Spirit in time to use their better skills.

2 Call Of The Wild

Besides being able to shape-shift and use Nature Magic, Druids also have another skill tucked up their sleeve. Due to their connection to the wild, players can also purchase companion skills, these include two wolves, a raven, or strangling vines.

Call of the Wild allows these mostly adorable companions to deal an even greater amount of damage to the opponents that dare attack their Druid. At the first rank, this is already ten percent more though, at the final rank, these companion skills when used will deal thirty percent more damage.

1 Elemental Exposure

The Elemental Exposure passive perk in Diablo 4

Out of all the passive skills available by far the most useful out of all of them has to be Elemental Exposure. For this skill to become useful for a player they must first be using Storm skills otherwise, this passive holds no purpose.

Elemental Exposure gives players a ten percent chance of making an enemy vulnerable for a second when using Storm Skills. While vulnerable, an enemy takes twenty percent more damage which therefore allows the player to deal with them quicker. Increasing this passive doesn't improve the player's chances but does lengthen the effect to three seconds.

Diablo 4 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
