Sorcerers bring the might of the elements to decimate demons in Diablo 4. They have access to DoTs, crowd control, and both burst and sustained damage sources, making them a versatile class that's effective everywhere.
Legendary Aspects boost the effectiveness of the Sorcerer's Skills, but choosing the right ones can be confusing, if not outright overwhelming. Here are some of the best ones available to this class in Diablo 4.
5 Aspect of Piercing Cold
Ice Shards is a powerful single-target spell that can be given penetrating properties using the Aspect of Piercing Cold. It gives the Skill some much-needed area-of-effect damage, making it more potent against groups of targets that are lined up against each other.
Obtain this Aspect by clearing the Dead Man's Dredge in the Fractured Peaks.
4 Aspect of Efficiency
Mana management is an integral part of the Sorcerer's playstyle—this makes Aspect of Efficiency one of the better Legendary Aspects for especially resource-hungry builds. It reduces the mana costs of Core Skills after using a Basic Skill, enabling a spell-weaving fighting style where players are constantly slinging different attacks.
Aspect of Efficiency is unlocked in the Codex of Power by completing the Domhainne Tunnels dungeon in Scosglen, directly west of Corbach.
3 Elementalist's Aspect
Sorcerers have a number of ways to increase their Critical Hit Chance, and the Elementalist's Aspect is one of them. It's basically like Edgemaster's Aspect except it boosts crit rate instead of raw damage. Use both to score high burst damage numbers with abilities like Meteor and Frozen Orb.
Elemantalist's Aspect is a reward for clearing the Pallid Delve dungeon in the Dry Steppes, east of the Ruins of Qara-Yisu Waypoint.
2 Recharging Aspect
Chain Lightning is one of the Sorcerer's best boss killers. However, it comes with a steep mana cost. The Recharging Aspect refunds Mana every time Chain Lightning bounces off the player, effectively granting more casts of the Skill in a one-on-one scenario.
This Legendary Aspect can be obtained by completing the Zenith dungeon in Fractured Peaks.
1 Storm Swell Aspect
The Vulnerable status ailment increases the damage afflicted targets take—Storm Swell further increases this bonus as long as the Sorcerer has a Barrier up. Use it together with other Barrier-related effects to decimate Vulnerable targets of all shapes and sizes.
Storm Swell is the reward for clearing the Onyx Hold dungeon in the Dry Steppes, which can only be unlocked after finishing the Onyx Tower Stronghold.
As with other classes, Sorcerers have Legendary Aspects that can only be obtained via random world drops or dungeon clear rewards. Here are a few standout picks:
- Unbroken Tether - Chain Lightning has a chance to chain two extra times
- Armageddon - Meteorites fall when Inferno is active; these meteorites immobilize all targets they hit
