The Diablo franchise has made some improvements to its setting and storyline over the years, and the latest installment of the game has added a vast open world for players to explore. Diablo 4 has all kinds of bloody diversions in the ravaged countryside of Sanctuary, such as dungeons, PvP areas, and Cellars.

Cellars are one-room "mini-dungeons" that contain elite enemies and occasionally a special task, a puzzle, or a rare boss. They're found throughout the world of Diablo 4, including the southern zone of Kehjistan, which is the last zone that most players find.

Facts About Kehjistan

diablo 4 kehjistan loading screen

One of two southern provinces that make up the map of Sanctuary, Kehjistan is west of Hawezar, which is more jungle and swamp than a sprawling desert. There are few major cities in Kehjistan, but several small ones that have waypoints and Healers, and the coastal city of Gae Kul is by far the biggest settlement in the zone.

Kehjistan is a place with dunes, hot temperatures, and an arid climate, along with the types of enemies that would go with it. That means scorpions, snakes, and other insects when it comes to wildlife and a mix of bandits, demons, and Lilith worshippers for human foes.

Handy elixirs for adventuring in this region are Demon and Man-Slaying since most of the enemies here are humans who summon hellish spawn. Poison Resistance to combat insects, bugs, and various mutants is a close second.

The Cellars of Kehjistan

There are 27 cellars scattered throughout the deserts, cliffsides, and ruins of Kehjistan, and given the geography of the region, a few of them are tricky to find and reach. Be prepared to scour the desert and leap or duck under fallen marble columns to reach a few of the following Cellars.

Those players who have finished the main quest storyline and have aligned with the Tree of Whispers can get a lot done in this zone. The related events change every couple of hours, so keep an eye on the map, and it will mark Cellars or other places to collect Grim Favors.
