Sanctuary has gotten a facelift in Diablo 4, and that means players are no longer going to be as efficient at getting across the larger play areas. Sure, there might be mounts now, but it will still take some time before that option becomes available. As such, it is important to take advantage of the Town Portals feature and the all-important waypoints found across each region.
In each of the five main regions in Sanctuary, players can hunt down waypoints that become permanent points in which fast travel is permitted. This will make it easier to explore not just the surrounding areas, but also for a quick change of direction if there is a quest requirement. For players hoping to check off all waypoints found in Fractured Peaks in Diablo 4, this guide will be very helpful.

Fractured Peaks Waypoints in Diablo 4
Players will be able to find a total of seven waypoints in Fractured Peaks, and they are generally located far apart from each other to make it more worthwhile to add them to the collection. In addition to making it easy to travel the region, there is also a nice Renown bonus for activating them, so be sure to make the most of that during the time spent in Fractured Peaks.
Nevesk
First encountered in the opening moments of Diablo 4, the actual Nevesk waypoint only becomes available after players reach the main city of Kyovashad in Fractured Peaks. Be sure to backtrack to add this waypoint to the collection.
Services include:
- Healer
- Blacksmith
Kyovashad
The first major city in the game that players will enter, Kyovashad will be the main hub area for the Fractured Peaks. There are a ton of services accessible here, and it will be one place that players will spend plenty of time in during the first chunk of Diablo 4 as they try to level up their character.
Services include:
- Stash
- Wardrobe
- Healer
- Weapon Vendor
- Armor Vendor
- Amulet/Ring Vendor
- Purveyor of Curiosities
- Stables
- Blacksmith
- Herbalist
- Occultist
- Jeweler
Nostrava
Located in the western part of the region, Nostrava is an enemy Stronghold that needs to be cleared out before it becomes a safe haven for the people of Sanctuary. After clearing the area and ridding evil once and for all, it becomes a convenient pathway for players to rest and recover.
Services include:
- Healer
- Weapon Vendor
- Stables
- Blacksmith
Margrave
Margrave is an area that players will probably arrive at as part of several side quests. It is located directly south of Kyovashad, and it's recognizable by the large pyre in the middle of the settlement. Grab the waypoint so that the journey south becomes an easier affair, and visit the Blacksmith to salvage unwanted gear.
Services include:
- Healer
- Armor Vendor
- Stables
- Blacksmith
Yelesna
Another Stronghold that needs to be cleared before things settle down, Yelesna is located in the southeast corner of Fractured Peaks. As is the familiar setup, opening up the area will lead to more side quests for players to pursue.
Services include:
- Healer
- Armor Vendor
- Purveyor of Curiosities
- Stables
- Blacksmith
Bear Tribe Refuge
For Barbarians, this will be a key area to visit to get in touch with the roots of the class. However, that doesn't mean that other classes are not welcome. In fact, there is a line of quests here that are worth pursuing for XP, Gold, and more loot, so head northeast from Kyovashad to locate this waypoint.
Services include:
- Healer
- Armor Vendor
- Blacksmith
Menestad
The second major settlement in the Fractured Peaks; head northwest from Kyovashad to locate Menestad. In its original form, it will be a Stronghold that needs to be decimated. Overpower the enemies in order to unlock another useful waypoint.
Services include:
- Healer
- Weapon Vendor
- Armor Vendor
- Amulet/Ring Vendor
- Stables
- Blacksmith
With all seven waypoints now unlocked for Fractured Peaks in Diablo 4, it should make the first area much easier to navigate on foot. Clearing side quests and destroying mobs will also become a much smoother process as players aim to get to the level cap.
