A lot has changed in Sanctuary since Malthael culled the world's population in Reaper of Souls, but even after all of that, some people just don't change. One area in Diablo 4's Hawezar region houses a familiar face that's up to some familiar antics, but whether said antics are for the good of the people might be a bit questionable.

Lyndon, the Scoundrel companion from the previous game, returns in Diablo 4 as a quest giver. He's got some jobs for players to do, and he'll give fans some clues on what he's been up to since his adventures with the Nephalem came to an end. Here's a guide on the Greater Good side quest.

Diablo 4 Greater Good — Stolen Supplies Location

The chest guarded by bandits in Diablo 4's Greater Good quest

This quest becomes available after players finish Dead in the Water, a different side quest given by Tomaj in the Forsaken Coast sub-region of Hawezar. Help Tomaj, Ervin, and Szilvia, then speak with Lyndon after collecting their rewards.

Lyndon will ask players to collect some supplies that were stolen by bandits in the local area. He'll send his right-hand man Orton to assist the player as they hunt for the perpetrators. Head to the marked area on the map and start searching.

The supplies can be found inside a chest by a pile of other presumably-stolen goods guarded by a gang of bandits. The location is near the center of the blue circle on the map—players will know they're in the right spot when they hear bandits yelling out to them.

Take out the hostiles, grab the supplies, and go back to Lyndon. Give the package to him, and he'll reward players with the usual array of side quest rewards: a few thousand gold, some XP, a resource cache, and a bunch of Renown XP for Hawezar.

According to the bandits, Lyndon owed them those supplies, and they were only collecting the Scoundrel's dues. After defeating the gang, players can ask Orton if they believe Lyndon really did cheat the bandits, and he'll reply by saying that his boss doesn't backstab innocent people.

In Diablo 3, Lyndon was introduced as a sniveling scammer who would do everything to get rich. However, despite his criminal nature, he is actually a good-hearted (if not morally dubious) man who would literally fight through Hell to protect the people and, of course, claim copious amounts of treasure.

Diablo 4 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
