The Traveler's Superstition is a side quest in Diablo 4 that may be out of the way of towns or other landmarks, but gives a decent amount of experience points for about a minute of actual work. It will probably take longer to travel to the side quest's location than to actually complete it.

Although, it may not be clear what players should do if they have not encountered similar side quests, such as the Keeping the Old Traditions and The Pilgrim's Footsteps. These optional missions only require players to emote in a specific spot, and this guide will show players where this side quest is located and how to finish it quickly.

The Traveler's Superstition side quest in Diablo 4 is located in the Rotspill Delta area within the Hawezar zone, on the east coast of the map, next to a series of wrecked ships. The nearest waypoints to travel from would be the Tree of Whispers waypoint north of the location or the Backwater waypoint in the south. The Tree of Whispers waypoint will be encountered during the game's campaign, while the latter would require players to clear a Stronghold to unlock.

The quest can be activated by interacting with the Hastily Scrawled Note sitting underneath a rock next to a giant statue of a woman. The note will read, "Pay your respects to her, and she will see you safely on your way. Ignore her, and suffer the fate of these poor fools."

Thankfully, players do not need to travel far once the side quest has begun. The Hastily Scrawled Note is talking about the giant statue next to it, so all players have to do is emote in front of the statue to complete the side quest.

While standing in front of the statue, use the Hello emote to pay respect to it and not ignore it. Emoting can be done by players bringing up the emote wheel with Up on the D-pad or E on the keyboard, and selecting the Hello emote from the wheel. The Hello emote should already be equipped with one of the three emote wheels, but players can set it to a different spot manually by selecting Customize.

The Traveler's Superstition side quest will be completed and spawn a chest next to the statue. Players will be rewarded with experience points, gold, +20 Hawezar Renown, and two random elixirs.

Diablo 4 is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
