The Traveler's Prayer is a side quest in Diablo 4. It does take very long to complete, but could stump some players who are not paying close attention since it may not be actually clear what the mission is asking for. It is an optional quest that will require players to emote in a specific spot, and is similar to the Keeping the Old Traditions and The Pilgrim's Footsteps side quests. These missions can provide an easy way of getting experience points to level up, and this guide will show players where they can find The Traveler's Prayer quest and how to quickly complete it.

The Traveler's Prayer Side Quest Walkthrough

Diablo 4 Traveler’s Prayer 1a

The Traveler's Prayer side quest in Diablo 4 is located in the town of Yelesna, which is in the Gale Valley area of the Fractured Peaks zone. Players can reach the town by traveling southeast of Kyovashad. The town has its own waypoint that can be activated for easy fast travel.

Players will have to enter The Hog's Head bar in the northeast section of Yelesna and interact with a Pilgrim’s Letter that is sitting on a table. The letter will read as follows: "From Yelesna, I set out on my pilgrimage. I offered thanks at a roadside shrine and received a blessing for my journey…"

The side quest will begin and will send players to a blue circle north of the town. Follow the path up to the area and stop at a small shrine located in the middle of intersecting roads. There is nothing to activate or interact with at the shrine, but will require players to emote in front of it to complete the quest.

While standing in front of the shrine, use the Thanks emote to thank the shrine just as it was done in the Pilgrim’s Letter. Emoting can be done by bringing up the emote wheel with Up on the D-pad or E on keyboard, and selecting the Thanks emote from the wheel. If the Thanks emote is not already equipped to one of the three emote wheels, players can set it manually by choosing Customize.

If done correctly, the Pilgrim’s Supplies chest will appear next to the shrine. Players will be rewarded with experience points, gold, +20 Fractured Peaks Renown, and an Elixir Cache for finishing The Traveler's Prayer side quest.

Diablo 4 is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
