The Pilgrim's Footsteps mission in Diablo 4 is a side quest that can be found while exploring in the overworld in one of the higher level areas of Kehjistan. The quest will see if players can follow in the footsteps of the pilgrims. This guide will show players find where the Diablo 4 side quest can be found and how to complete it.

Diablo 4 The Pilgrim's Footsteps Quest Walkthrough

The Pilgrim's Footsteps side quest is located in the Amber Sands area within the Kehjistan zone. It can be found on the map above marked with a black circle, and is west of Kyovashad and south of the Dry Steppes zone.

Players can easily reach the area if they have already unlocked the Iron Wolves Encampment waypoint to the south or from the Jirandai waypoint to the east of the objective. Those that have to trek through should have a mount equipped to make the trip faster.

The quest marker will appear on the map with a blue exclamation point once players have entered and revealed the area. After revealed, players can set a pin to the location on the map screen and follow a path directly to it.

Players will have to interact with a book lying out in the open in the sand. The book is named the Old Book and will ask players follow the path of the pilgrims just north of where the book is.

A blue circle will appear on the map nearby after interacting with the book, and players just simply have to place a pin in the blue circle to follow the path. It will take players north, and the pin might take them through the Tomb of the Saints. It is not necessary to go through the tomb and players can walk around the right path to the statue.

The statue will see if players can follow the pilgrim's footsteps. While standing in front of the statue, players will have to emote Follow to complete the quest. Emoting requires players to bring up the emote wheel with Up on the D-pad or E on keyboard and select Yes from the wheel.

If the Follow emote is not equipped, players can do so manually by selecting Customize. The emote can then be slotted into one of the three emote wheels.
