Diablo 4 is filled with plenty of activities for players to get stuck into besides the brilliant main campaign that is sure to shock many. One of the crucial activities all players are likely to get involved in across the world of Sanctuary is the various dungeons available.

Inside these dungeons players can quickly level up their characters, find incredible loot, and obtain Aspects to improve their build. At the end of these dungeons, players may be tasked with killing several enemies or facing off against a challenging boss. With so many dungeons available in Diablo 4 these are by far some of the best bosses to be found in dungeons.

8 Khazra Abomination

Khazra Abominations are not only in one dungeon in the game and therefore players are likely to find this final boss in various dungeons across Sanctuary that have the Goat Clan or the Blood Clan as their main enemies.

This large goat-like creature is arguably one of the easier foes players may face at the end of a dungeon, but that doesn't stop it from being a great final foe. Players will want to have a resistance to poison as this Admonition has sharp claws that leave puddles of poison wherever it hits.

7 Den Mother

The Den Mother is another dungeon boss that players are likely to encounter at various dungeons across Diablo 4, though she can first be found in Light's Watch. While this large Werewolf may seem like quite the straightforward foe, she does require a small amount of strategy for players hoping to avoid their end.

Her gnashing teeth and lethal claws are only one part of her deadliness as the matriarch of the wolves will also litter the ground with damaging pools of blood. If all that isn't enough to show the charm of the Den Mother, she is fine with allowing her wolf hunters to deal with the player for her instead.

6 Spiritcaller Of Squalls

Shamans are a foe many players are sure to have faced while normally walking around Sanctuary, this foe is already a challenge even as a regular enemy. However, when entering the last room of the Whispering Pines, players are likely to be met by an even harder Shaman known as the Spiritcaller of Squalls.

Just like the regular Shaman the Spiritcaller can revive its allies. This makes attacking this dungeon boss quite the challenge as it summons other foes to distract the player and then proceeds to bring them back to life after the player has defeated them.

5 Resurrected Malice

Continuing the theme of resurrections, the Resurrected Malice from the Forbidden City is a ghost that poses a threat to the player. Players are likely to have faced many undead foes on their adventures, but nothing comes close to the Resurrected Malice.

Besides the ghost constantly summoning other spirits to kill the player. If these spirits are ignored, they can easily overrun and leave no time to deal with the boss. Other than the ads, the Resurrected Malice has plenty of tricks up its sleeves as it uses its spirit powers to push the player away when they get too close or injure them with spirit balls.

4 Blood Bishop

One of the most iconic enemies of Diablo 4 besides its demons is the undead forces, they lurk in the shadows across Sanctuary while they make a home for themselves in the various crypts. The Blood Bishop is a violent vampire boss that players are likely to encounter while attempting to complete the Hallowed Ossuary.

The Blood Bishop is unlike any other dungeon boss the player is likely to meet due to how confident it is in that battle that it doesn't even need to rely on regular enemies to protect it. Evasion is key in this battle as getting caught by the Blood Bishop will begin to regen its health while it drains the player.

3 Sarat

Anything with eight legs is most likely a danger and that continues to be the case for the creatures faced in Diablo 4. Spiders are a foe that players are likely to face across Sanctuary as either regular foes or those that stand between the player finishing the dungeon and achieving an Aspect.

Lurking within Sarat's Lair, Sarat can be found. This giant spider earned itself a spot as one of the best dungeon bosses due to the sheer challenge it is to face her. Spitting both web and poison means players are likely to find themselves trapped with no chance of escape as Spider Abominations finish the work.

2 Tomb Lord

Deep within the Mallux Keep this undead foe can be faced. The Tomb Lord is arguably one of the most mechanically complex bosses on this list due to how many skills it must use against the player.

Like many other dungeon foes, the Tomb Lord will summon skeletons to attack the player though this is arguably the easiest part of the fight. Summoning Bone Walls is another mechanic it uses regularly to both protect itself and block the path of the player. It can then cause these walls to explode and damage the player. It also emits other AoE attacks as well as floating around to keep the player on edge.

1 The Butcher

However, out of all the bosses available to be faced across the dungeons by far the best and most infamous must be The Butcher. Unlike the other bosses mentioned this boss isn't found in a specific dungeon or at the end but instead can randomly appear in any of the dungeons across Sanctuary.

Players may be quietly exploring a dungeon when The Butcher appears. His lethal attacks and chain pull make sure that the player is unable to escape him; this can be the end of a hardcore run if a player meets him on accident and therefore many may wish to level up elsewhere before risking it.

Diablo 4 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
