Crushed Beast Bones are a Crafting Material in Diablo 4, and players will need five of them in order to upgrade to Light Healing Potions. While that is not a particularly large quantity, some fans may struggle to obtain even one of these important monster parts. For those players that are indeed having trouble getting their hands on Crushed Beast Bones in Diablo 4, this guide is here to provide details on an effective farming strategy.

Diablo 4: Crushed Beast Bones Location

Diablo 4 players that are on the hunt for Crushed Beast Bones are advised to turn their attention to the Flooded Mine, a cellar in the Western Tunnels just east of Margrave. For the sake of full clarity, the precise position of this cellar has been marked on the map that is below, and fans that are coming from Margrave should climb up the nearby ladder to quickly reach it. Notably, it is possible that the following farming strategy will work in other cellars, though it has only been verified firsthand in the Flooded Mine.

Upon entering the Flooded Mine, players should dispatch all the enemies that are inside in order to spawn a chest. This chest seems to always awards some number of Diablo 4 materials when opened, and those materials are frequently four or five Crushed Beast Bones. If a player does not receive the materials that they need the first time that they open the Flooded Mine chest, they should simply exit the cellar, stand outside for around two minutes to respawn the event, and then reenter for the opportunity to loot another chest.

To note, players may need to repeat this process several times before they have enough Crushed Beast Bones to perform the Light Healing Potion upgrade in Diablo 4. This method still seems to be more consistent than farming for the material by killing the beasts that are scattered across the map, though. Indeed, some players report that they have gained many levels slaying beasts in various locations without ever seeing a Crushed Beast Bone.

That said, if a player is determined to earn their Crushed Beast Bones by dispatching creatures, Scosglen seems to be a particularly good area to target. For the uninitiated, Diablo 4's Scosglen can be reached by heading northeast from Kyovashad, and there are many beasts to be encountered there. While players that target those beasts may not earn their Crushed Beast Bones as quickly as those that focus on the Flooded Mine cellar, they will at least get to do some exploring simultaneously.

Diablo 4 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
