Consumables are a common sight in video games, especially RPGs. Players can use them to give their character buffs and bonuses to their stats, damage dealt, or other abilities. Consumables can include items that the character eats, burns, or anything that that disappears when used. Diablo 4 has an array of these helpful things to increase resistance or boost experience points gained.

Some consumables are equally useful for any class or situation, but there are some that Rogues should always carry with them. The Rogue relies on movement and a mix of ranged and melee damage to defeat their foes, and some extra experience points are always a nice perk, a feature that's included with many of the concoctions in the world of Sanctuary.

7 Elixir Of Combatant Fortune

A lot of Rogues enjoy the thrill of PvP combat; it might be why the class was created. The Elixir of Combatant Fortune is one of the few potions not made by an Alchemist, but instead randomly drops from enemies in the Fields of Hatred, the free-for-all PvP area in Diablo 4.

Lucky Hit chance makes it so that the special ability imbued on a character's weapon or gear will randomly occur more often, like a physical barrier or no need for resources. This elixir can help any class with its increase to Lucky Hit chance, but it's even better for squishy classes like Rogues that need extra defense and can't depend on magical generators, minions, or thick skin.

6 Acrobatics Elixir

A Rogue doesn't have the power to generate a magical barrier, nor do they have the Strength of a Barbarian to pile on those hit points. One of the few options they have to evade damage is the Evade ability. Rogues specialize in this kind of powers anyway, and the Acrobatics Elixir makes them even better.

Like other elixirs mixed by the Alchemist, this one is available in different strengths depending on the character's level and the resources available. It reduces the cooldown time of Evade and gives the character a boost to their experience gain.

5 Elixir Of Demon Slaying

On a practical level, every class in Diablo 4 should carry around a few of these, especially when they're doing the campaign quests that involve Lilith and her minions. It not only increases the damage done against Demons, but also Goatmen, Fallen, and Flies.

That covers a fairly large percentage of the enemies that players run into while exploring Sanctuary. It's more complex to make at higher levels, including resources like Reddamine and Angelbreath, so the player may have to travel further afield before they can make it.

4 Queen's Supreme Incense

The Rogue's most important stat is Dexterity, and the only consumable that helps boost this feature is Queen's Supreme Incense. The Alchemist makes this as well, and the recipes can be found in a tab separate from elixirs.

Any kind of incense will work for an individual player provided they're in range of the smoke, but it's really intended for players in groups. A party that's fighting a boss or defending a strategic position is the best use of this incense, and for a party with more than one Rogue, it's essential.

3 Whispering Keys

All characters, not just Rogues, need to have a few Whispering Keys at all times. They're stored with the other consumables and are consumed when they're used. Players can buy them from the Purveyer of Curiosities in exchange for Obols, and considering the other goods this vendor sells, the Whispering Keys might be the most valuable thing in their inventory.

The player will probably find a Silent Chest before they discover the Purveyor of Curiosities or the Whispering Keys, and there are few things more frustrating than finding a chest in the wilderness that can't be opened. The items from these chests are marginally better than others, so it's important that the character always has a few handy.

2 Elixir Of Poison Resistance

There's so much poison damage in Diablo 4 that a few of these should always be in the Consumables section of every Inventory. Plenty of enemies in Sanctuary use poison damage, and they can be found in the wilderness or dungeons as spiders, snakes, mushrooms, insects, and much more.

The Elixir of Poison Resistance is available from the Alchemist, and boosts resistance to poison along with giving the character an experience gain bonus. It's also one of the first potions that players can make, which is another reason it's important for a Rogue to always have a few of them.

1 Third Eye Elixir

This elixir helps with movement, giving the player a buff to their Evade speed and chance, along with boosting their experience gain. It's made at the Alchemist and only requires three ingredients: Gallowvine, Howler Moss, and Crush Beasts Bones (plus a tip, of course).

For Rogues that need some extra mobility in dungeons, events, or cellars as they enjoy PvE throughout the open world, this is one of the most important potions to have in their inventory. It has a similar effect to the Elixir Of Combatant Fortune. The difference is that the Third Eye Elixir refers to their movement as opposed to the ability's cooldown time, but it's much easier to acquire.
