Druids in Diablo 4 have a number of solid builds to play with throughout all stages of the game, including one that revolves around Werewolf form and its many attacks based on speed, critical hits, and poisoning. There are multiple Legendary Aspects that support these playstyles, though not all of them are easy to get.

The Aspect of the Blurred Beast is a highly-specialized legendary power that many Diablo 4 players won't see until the middle parts of their Druids' leveling journeys. Thankfully, this Legendary Aspect isn't essential for the class' other powerful builds. There's going to be a fair bit of grinding involved for this one, so strap in and get ready to trample on the hordes of Hell again.

How to get the Aspect of the Blurred Beast in Diablo 4

Like most other Legendary Aspects, this one cannot be obtained via the Codex of Power. Instead, players will have to get lucky with their legendary item drops.

Aspect of the Blurred Beast can roll on any item that takes offensive Aspects—these include 1H and 2H weapons, off-hand totems, rings, amulets, and gloves. It doesn't matter what weapon type players get, though a one-hander or totem might be better than two-handed axes and maces since they complement the attack speed focus of Werewolf skills.

All Legendary Aspects can be extracted by Occultists and transferred to other compatible items regardless of whether they can be found in the Codex of Power or not. Two-handed weapons will increase the effectiveness of all legendary powers by 200% while Amulets will buff them by 50%.

What does the Aspect of the Blurred Beast Do?

This legendary power causes the Werewolf Shred skill's dashes to automatically target an enemy that's been poisoned and deal up to 100% of the poison effect's damage upfront upon impact. This will not consume the poison on an enemy, which means players can enjoy its benefits multiple times as long as the target is hit by Shred's dash attack.

Aspect of the Blurred Beast works best in a Poison Werewolf build with Rabies, Poison Creeper, and as many Critical Strike-related buffs as players can stack onto their gear, skill tree, and Paragon Board. Poison and other damage-over-time effects cannot critically strike, and it's unclear if the bonus damage from Blurred Beast can either.

Still, the added bonus against poisoned enemies can make any Werewolf Druid much deadlier. Also, the auto-seek for Shred's dash is a huge quality-of-life improvement that'll help greatly with the Werewolf's AOE clearing speeds.

Diablo 4 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
