Diablo 4's action RPG experience makes it so players can easily customize their builds the way they want at all times, and they also have plenty of tools to do so. With an incredible variety in terms of loot, Diablo 4's Paragon Boards, and multiple Aspects and Unique items, players can really craft all the builds they want for their characters.

Diablo 4's Legendary Aspects can be found throughout the open world of Sanctuary in its Dungeons or as random drops from monsters or even the Purveyor of Curiosities. Either way, they are capable of fundamentally changing how some skills and classes work, and the Druid also has quite a vast selection to choose from.

S Tier

Diablo 4 Druids Warcraft Race
  • Aspect of Natural Balance
  • Aspect of the Rampaging Werebeast
  • Aspect of Trampled Earth
  • Shockwave Aspect
  • Stormchaser's Aspect

Aspect of Natural Balance - This Aspect is one of the very best available to Druids because it synergizes perfectly with the Resonance passive and Nature's Fury Key Passive, which promote a hybrid playstyle that entails both Storm and Earth skills. Even if players are not actively trying to pursue this route, using a Storm skill and an Earth skill in any build is a likely outcome, making this Aspect's benefits easy to reap.

Aspect of the Rampaging Werebeast - Grizzly Rage can be a quite powerful Ultimate in Diablo 4, and this Aspect makes it even more lethal when combined with high-crit builds. Even then, simply increasing the duration of Grizzly Rage can be a game-changer, and this Aspect is one of the best options available to the class.

Aspect of the Trampled Earth - This Aspect is incredibly powerful thanks to the many synergies it can bear, from Nature's Fury to shapeshifting skills, all the way to Earth skill combos. Trample is also the only mobility tool for Diablo 4's Druids, and this Aspect makes it a phenomenal ability for damage and utility alike.

Shockwave Aspect - Pulverize builds in Diablo 4 are very powerful, and this Aspect is part of the reason why. It improves single-target damage, add-clearing capabilities, and generally makes Pulverize an even better skill - especially if this Aspect is used or found on two-handed weapons or amulets.

Stormchaser's Aspect - Those who want to use Tornado in Diablo 4's Dungeons and PvE content, as well as PvP, will have to look for this specific Aspect. It makes Tornado seek targets, which makes it a much better ability to use and more consistent for damage, too. It's so impactful for the build that it becomes a must-have.

A Tier

Diablo 4 Druid in the character select screen
  • Aspect of Mending Stone
  • Aspect of Quicksand
  • Aspect of the Aftershock
  • Aspect of the Blurred Beast
  • Aspect of the Stampede
  • Aspect of the Unsatiated
  • Ballistic Aspect
  • Crashstone Aspect
  • Lightning Dancer's Aspect
  • Nighthowler's Aspect
  • Shepard's Aspect
  • Stormclaw's Aspect
  • Stormshifter's Aspect
  • Vigorous Aspect

Aspect of Mending Stone - Considering how good Earthen Bulwark is and how impactful it can be - especially in the endgame - this Aspect is going to be the bread and butter of most Druid builds. The increased duration perk is already great, but repleneshing the Barrier when killing enemies with Earth skills makes it amazing when paired with Landslide or even with Vasily's Prayer, a Unique item that makes every Earth skill also a Werebear skill.

Aspect of Quicksand - Many Earth skills already apply crowd control effects, but this Aspect makes them guaranteed to proc Slow on all enemies hit by Earth skills, which can not only become a massive boon in terms of extra damage coming from various sources, but also make builds that rely on these means less clunky. Crowd control effects are also highly valuable in Diablo 4's endgame, and an extra source of Slow can come in handy.

Aspect of the Aftershock - Though Landslide is not the most popular Core Skill for Diablo 4 Druid builds, it is still quite powerful - especially with its upgrades. Aspect of the Aftershock makes Landslide deal even more damage, and as such is a must for any build using this skill.

Aspect of the Blurred Beast - Werewolf builds in Diablo 4 are not exactly the most popular, and there are better alternatives to Shred. However, this Aspect makes the skill seek out Poisoned enemies and deal a good chunk of Poison damage to them immediately, which bypasses the issue with damage over time.

Aspect of the Stampede - Although Companion skills don't scale particularly well in the endgame, much like Diablo 4's minions for the Necromancer, this is one of the best Aspects in the game for leveling purposes. Having this early on can completely change the leveling experience for Druids, and it also makes Companion skills more powerful in the endgame.

Aspect of the Unsatiated - Shred builds need all the help they can get, and this Aspect does just that by providing Spirit generation and more damage all in one go. While the ability may not be as powerful as other Druid skills, this Aspect is a build-enabler, and quite a good one.

Ballistic Aspect - As Diablo 4's rare Unique items prove, having additional ranks to skills is incredibly powerful. This Aspect provides players with +2 ranks to all their Earth skills whenever they are Fortified, meaning a single cast of Earthen Bulwark can make this happen. Plus, it will work on any skill that becomes an Earth ability with other items or Aspects.

Crashstone Aspect - Critical strike damage is always a very potent tool in games like Diablo, and Crashstone Aspect gives even more when using Earth skills on enemies that are crowd-controlled, which is quite easy to achieve.

Lightning Dancer's Aspect - Lightning Storm is not seen as often as Werebear skills in Druid builds, but it's a big hitter in terms of damage. This Aspect takes things even further by making it spawn additional bolts of lightning that inflict massive damage to enemies, both improving the skill's add-clearing potential and its boss DPS.

Nighthowler's Aspect - Blood Howl is generally considered inferior to Debilitating Roar for defensive skills, but this Aspect makes it extremely powerful for solo and group play in Diablo 4 thanks to its adding critical strike chance to the user and their allies.

Shepard's Aspect - While Companion builds may be tough to scale properly in the endgame, this Aspect makes players deal up to 8% increased damage with Core Skills for each Companion they have. Combined with Aspect of the Stampede, players can get tremendous amounts of extra damage.

Stormclaw's Aspect - Another Aspect that improves Werewolf builds in Diablo 4, this one makes Shred deal AoE damage and synergize with Lightning builds, both very useful elements that can make it a fantastic skill to use. With further combos coming from Diablo 4's Unique items, such as Tempest Roar, this Aspect can fundamentally change how Shred is played and how effective it can be.

Stormshifter's Aspect - With Hurricane slotted as a utility skill, Stormshifter's Aspect can work wonders for the damage-dealing potential of any shapeshifting skills, as it increases their ranks by 2 levels.

Vigorous Aspect - This Aspect makes Werewolf players get 10-15% damage reduction whenever they are in Werewolf form, which can even be at all times with the Mad Wolf's Glee Unique armor. With Werewolf builds needing more survivability, this can be a fantastic tool to help with that.

B Tier

Diablo 4 Druid Armor Sets High Level
  • Aspect of Cycloning Force
  • Aspect of Nature's Savagery
  • Aspect of Retaliation
  • Aspect of the Alpha
  • Aspect of the Ursine Horror
  • Aspect of the Tempest
  • Balanced Aspect
  • Dire Wolf's Aspect
  • Earthguard Aspect
  • Mighty Storm's Aspect
  • Overcharged Aspect
  • Runeworker's Conduit Aspect
  • Symbiotic Aspect

Aspect of Cyclonic Force - This Aspect is niche, but great for support builds and multiplayer Diablo 4, as it provides damage mitigation to the Druid and their allies at all times. However, it fails to shine anywhere else, and Druids have better alternatives if they only want the non-Physical damage reduction part of the perk.

Aspect of Nature's Savagery - While Nature's Fury is a great Key Passive in Diablo 4, all this Aspect does is make Werebear skills count as Earth skills and Werewolf abilities count as Storm skills for this specific passive's effects. Were it available for a more consistent chunk of the gameplay loop, this Aspect would have been much better than it is.

Aspect of Retaliation - Fortify can be great on Diablo 4's Druids, specifically, thanks to abilities like Pulverize and Debilitation Roar, but it's a niche part of the gameplay loop that players will most likely not invest into actively. As such, while Aspect of Retaliation can provide great benefits, it only does so to Core Skills and is only effective in a few builds.

Aspect of the Alpha - Companion skills in Diablo 4 are quite potent as is, and this Aspect capitalizes on that by making Wolf companions turn into Werewolves that deal increased damage and can also spread Rabies. With Poison builds relying on Rabies, this Aspect is incredibly powerful and takes add-clearing to the next level.

Aspect of the Ursine Horror - This Aspect can be good for those who want to make Pulverize an Earth skill to then use it in combination with other Aspects and items, but its tectonic spikes leave a lot to be desired.

Aspect of the Tempest - Diablo 4's meme skill Hurricane is much better now than it was during the betas, and it even deals decent damage. Still, it's mostly a utility skill to use, and increasing its damage only really works if players want to focus on that particular ability in their builds.

Balanced Aspect - This Aspect increases Spirit and Spirit generation when in Grizzly Rage, and while it's a useful tool to have, players will need more reliable ways to generate resources across the board.

Dire Wolf's Aspect - Players who want to shake up their playstyle a lot can use this Aspect to do just that when using Grizzly Rage, which becomes a Werewolf skill and completely changes the way it works. It's an interesting choice, but it can only really shine in dedicated shapeshifting builds.

Earthguard Aspect - Earthen Bulwark already provides Diablo 4 players with a big Barrier, but for those who want to improve it even further this Aspect is the best tool. More often than not, however, players won't need to invest so heavily into Barriers.

Mighty Storm's Aspect - Earthen Might is a decent Key Passive, and this Aspect makes it available to Storm skills as well as Earth ones. It can be particularly useful in some Lightning Storm builds in Diablo 4, but otherwise, it's a niche option.

Overcharged Aspect - Diablo 4's bosses are at times accompanied by adds, and if that is the case then this Aspect can be quite powerful. Otherwise, the damage is negligible compared to the requirements and is only ever useful against bigger targets.

Runeworker's Conduit Aspect - Critical strike Lightning Storm builds will appreciate this Aspect a lot, but for general gameplay, it remains quite lackluster. Even then, Lightning Storm builds will likely have better alternatives.

Symbiotic Aspect - Symbiotic Aspect works well with Nature's Fury builds, and while it does a decent job at making them more viable even with cooldown skills, it can be tricky to make it work in a reliable way.

C Tier

diablo 4 druid with wolves concept
  • Aspect of Metamorphic Stone
  • Aspect of the Calm Breeze
  • Aspect of the Changeling's Debt
  • Aspect of the Dark Howl
  • Aspect of the Wildrage
  • Mangled Aspect
  • Seismic-shift Aspect
  • Skinwalker's Aspect

Aspect of Metamorphic Stone - Despite it providing an interesting tool to Boulder users, the Druic can struggle with Spirit and resource generation enough as is, and it doesn't need a Core Skill in Diablo 4 to cost 60 Spirit. As such, this Aspect remains extremely situational and generally not great, especially for builds that don't have consistent ways of generating resources in Diablo 4.

Aspect of the Calm Breeze - Wind Shear is not a popular choice when it comes to Basic Skills, as the Druid has access to plenty of other tools that can be much better overall. The Aspect of the Calm Breeze doesn't elevate this skill to new heights, as it only works in a handful of occasions due to its Lucky Hit requirement, and thus is not a reliable source of Spirit generation.

Aspect of the Changeling's Debt - This Aspect is mainly useful to those who want to alternate between Werebear skills and Werewolf ones, but the result is often not optimal, and Aspect of the Changeling's Debt doesn't really change that. It only activates when damaging a Poisoned enemy with a Werebear skill, and the best use for it would be to ignore the dual shapeshifting playstyle and instead use it with Poison Creeper.

Aspect of the Dark Howl - Outside of very specific builds and scenarios, there is little benefit in making Debilitating Roar become a Werewolf skill. As such, this Aspect probably has many better alternatives.

Aspect of the Wildrage - Companion builds are not great in Diablo 4's endgame systems, and this Aspect doesn't do enough to uplift them. Providing Companions with shapeshifting bonuses only works if players are already focusing on that particular playstyle, and even then, the boons are very small.

Mangled Aspect - This Aspect will give players 1 Spirit on a 20-30% chance whenever they take damage in Werebear form, which is a considerable ask for a very small gain.

Seismic-shift Aspect - This Aspect makes Earth Spike launch spikes in a line, but it gains a cooldown. As a Basic Skill, having a cooldown would kill any chance of it being usable in any build, thus making this one of the worst Aspects in the game.

Skinwalker's Aspect - All this Aspect does is provide players with some healing when using a shapeshifting skill that changes their form and is once again only useful in hybrid Werebear and Werewolf builds. The healing is also negligible, making this Aspect bad in almost all circumstances.

Diablo 4 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
